Summer is just… heaven.

Close your eyes and think about a juicy plump strawberry. Picture the perfectness, the tantalizing redness just begging to be eaten. Wait! Don’t bite in yet!


Summer is smoothie time, where you swing lazily on your hammock, sipping delicately from your straw and letting your palate experience an explosion of flavor. Take advantage of the best of the season. Get your juicer out and let those creative juices flow!

1/2 cup frozen peaches

1 cup plain yogurt or Greek yogurt

1/2 cup crushed ice

1/2 cup milk

1/4 tsp ground cinnamon (optional)

1/2 tsp sugar (optional)

Blend in Blender

1/2 cup frozen green apple

1/2 cup kale, spinach or celery

3/4 cup yogurt or milk

2 cups yogurt

2 cups milk

2 cups strawberries (frozen)

6 crushed vanilla cookies or wafers

4 tsp. sugar (or splenda)

1 tsp vanilla extract

Blend in blender


smoresS’More Smoothie

A creative way to enjoy an oldy but goody!

1 cup Greek Yogurt

1/2 cup milk

1 tsp cocoa powder

3 graham cracker squares

1 tbsp brown sugar

1 tbsp chocolate chips

Ice cubes

20 mini marshmallows

Blend everything except the chocolate chips, marshmallows and ice cubes. When smooth, add the chocolate chips and ice cubes and blend until desired consistency. Top with marshmallows.
